Inspection of climbing walls

Inspection of the climbing wall is an assessment of the condition of the structure for use, is carried out in the format of tests, which include:

1. Testing the safety points
2. Impact testing of the surface elements for each type used in the construction of the climbing wall
3. Strength testing for each type of hook location used on the climbing wall
4. All tests shall be conducted in accordance with SP 31-115-2508, Part 4, “extreme sports”. After the document “Climbing walls (climbing stands), design features, safety requirements, technical conditions, test methodology” is put into effect, the tests shall comply with the requirements of this document;
5. On the basis of the provided documents the company “Skalodrom.ru” issues a certificate authorizing the operation of the climbing wall in the normal mode and holding competitions on it;

From now on, all new climbing walls where competitions will be held must comply with these requirements. An annual structural inspection of the building will be carried out to identify construction and operational irregularities.

Inspection is necessary to prevent accidents on the climbing wall, destruction of structures and deformation of buildings;
