It's time to update the reference track on one of the most deserved climbing walls of Russia - "Energy" in Voronezh. And not just update, but bring in accordance with the requirements of IFSC (International Federation of Sports Climbing) to conduct, neither more nor less, but the European Championship!
The mission for non-professionals is impossible: there should be no curved shields or crevices, only a strictly defined angle of inclination and color of finishing. And we are not afraid of the gray color, we can do everything. So just in 2 weeks, the old panels were dismantled, the support frame was adapted, 93 m² of standard panels were manufactured and installed.
Now we are waiting for the IFSC commission, which will accept our work and will make a verdict - if our climbing wall is suitable for setting a world record. If the commission's response is negative, the updated Voronezh standard will swell the ranks of certified walls, which can be counted on fingers all over the world.
